Volvo 850 fuel filter brands?

Who is the Volvo OEM? I thought it was Bosch?

In Canada, the price for a Volvo OE fuel filter is a ridiculous $60! I may be able to buy the filter locally but want to know what brand(s) are cheap but good.

When I changed mine, I got Bosch - in Bosch's own packaging - at the dealer. But Mahle KL 85 is a good alternative. 15 bucks on Amazon.

Just noticed I misread sommerfeldt's note. He said Mahle, not Meyle. That is what I also meant!

Mann, BOSCH, Mahle, no name, as long as it is not a Fram, I'd use it.

I think when people think of FRAM, they're thinking the "good old days" FRAM where quality mattered. FRAM is still selling because of the "I remember my grandpa/dad used FRAM." If you cut one open and see what's inside, you'll never use one either.
