THIS can be the result.
The worst P80 wreck I have ever seen and yes, they can still crumble with the worst of them. :o

P80 V70R (here in Philly 2 days ago), Daytime yet!

This kid paid with his life and the life of the woman he hit because of his stupidity, lack of judgement and lack of driving talent.

RIP to the both of them

Pictures and story link below. Almost everyone who lives in Philadelphia knows or knows of Lincoln Drive, how narrow and twisty it is. It's 25 MPH speed limit and should be driven at that speed for most drivers. Can be taken at 40 with a GOOD handling car with a good driver behind the wheel and when it's not rush hour or no traffic.

This kid was doing far more than even 40-45 when he apparently lost control.

Look at the pictures, take a breath and think about your driving. It may save your life!

That is very sobering, good post. I've never seen a Volvo that mangled up. RIP, especially to the innocent victim.

Good reminder to lay off the boost unless its safe to do so; especially as these cars need speed a long straight path to stretch their legs!

Horrible pictures. Poor innocent woman. Stupid kid, very sorry for the things he missed cuz of that mistake. I am very happy that back when I was that age i had slow slow 4-bangers as daily drivers and heavy V8 cruisers (like a 72 Lincoln Continental) which never gave me the confidence to speed.

Always sad when anyone is hurt or in this case killed by a moments red mist or lack of attention. That can happen to any of us whatever the age of the driver. RIP also from me to those who are no longer with us.

You're absolutely right. Your post is a good reality check.
