'99 V70 Serpentine Belt Change Questions

Having been emboldened by my recent a/c experience with the '98, I am advised by reliable sources that my '99 V70 needs a serpentine belt change. Since I do not know whether the serpentine belt tensionser and idler have previously been changed, I'm figuring I should probably change them as well. Any tricks/differences between the "98 and '99 that I should be aware of? It looks like they use different style tensionsers. Any acceptable aftermarket brands of tensioners? Thanks.

Unless you hear noise or feel funkiness on the tensioner I would leave it be. I've got 180k on my 1999 original

Serp belt is a 10 minute job with a Torx bit ( T45?) on a long extender handle making it easiest.

Draw a picture of the belt path before removal, it's a lot easier than trying memory recall.

When one of my P80 car's tensioners got noisy this spring, I swapped in another used one.

They fail so rarely that unless you are doing a full engine bay restoration for fun or to sate your OCD tendencies, I would leave it alone.

Tensioner is original at 202K miles.

Mine has over 324,000 and neither has ever been changed. These are different from the small timing belt rollers.
