94 850 vapor purge system questions

I have been spending a lot of time working on my new "toy" a 1994 850 na. I found out today that it is missing the entire fuel vapor purge system. I know there should be a vapor storage canister on the left side of the engine compartment and when I first started working on the vehicle is figured it was there. We'll now that I have more experience with working on the car I found out that the part I thought was the purge canister is actually a vacuum tank for something I have no clue what it could be. It has what appears to be a solenoid controller that the vacuum lines connect to. So there is a vacuum line from the intake to the solenoid and tank then from the solenoid to a vacuum servo on the intake manifold. All this seems to function properly so I'm not really concerned with it but I still would like to know what it is. What does concern me is the missing fuel vapor lines from the tank, the canister, and purge valve. If anyone can help me with where the lines are usually found running from the tank to the canister and where the purge valve is found. Also where the connection is from the valve to the engine. Pics would be nice but I can make due with an explanation.

The later P80s have the canister hidden in the front left wheel fender" I think pics if your setup would be the best way to sort out what you do or don't have

I will get some pics this weekend while I do some more work on it. The canister is missing as well as any lines from the tank. The vacuum system I found out is the VVIS. The actuator was a little sticky so I cleaned it up and lubricated it and it moves freely now. I figured out how to do the system self tests and the solenoid functions. The vacuum tank for the VVIS is in decent shape and is still sealed. I am going to replace the vacuum lines this weekend and see if I can see a difference in the behavior of the engine with the VVIS functioning properly. I already put in an order to my 850 fanatic friend for a canister so I can see what it looks like. I probably won't get it till next week then I can start figuring out the missing lines problem.

The fuel tank recall has never been performed on my car so when I take it in to the local Volvo dealership I want to see if I take new vapor lines if they can install them. I figure that they should be able to because the lines (if they are still attached) will be removed anyway so they can just install the new ones. My question now is does anyone have information about these vapor lines? Such as size, the length I will need and the type of lines they are.
