Cruise Control/Battery Light

Hello all, driving to Virginia a few days ago doing 70 mph with the cruise on. All of a sudden, the cruise control disengaged and the battery light illuminated for a second. I never engaged the cruise control after the incident. Any thoughts on this occurance?

Probably a dirty ground or you alternator glitch

Any voltage drop on a fly by wire car (1999+) will drop the Electronic throttle body and knock cruise out

You probably will have to cycle the ignition off to get it working again
