2006 V70 Where is the cabin filter

For the life of me I can't find the cabin air filter in my 2006 V70. I've googled and searched this forum.

Behind the glovebox.
You can access it two ways, remove the glovebox, (the hard way) or remove the black plastic cowl in front of the windshield, (the easier way)

The plastic cowl looks like a bear to remove. It has plastic fasteners connecting it to the firewall, and the windshield wipers go through it.

Anyplace on the internet with visuals?

Actually there are 2, or is it 3 torx screws near the floor, under the glove box on this model year....JRL is wrong about the location on your car....he is thinking of the pre-2001 models. You'll have to take the panel off under the glove box to get to the filter housing screws.
