Thanks guys. I think I will replace it anyway. My son uses the car now and I know if I leave it it will fail when I have no time to fix it! Thanks for all the suggestions and inputs.

lol, minds well go the extra mile and use rearend dope. mmmmmm the smell of rancid feline urine being heated up..

Trans assembly lube is very low odor and is safe for select bimetal use.
ugh smh 850 Turbo fridge
