2005 v50 Auto Transmission not selecting semi auto mode

Hello All
My v50 does nothing when I move from full auto to the tiptronic semi auto mode.
No lights come on. Nothing changes. Just stays full auto
Has anyone come across this and can point me toward a fix?

Look down beside the gearshift lever. Can you see inner works? The actual switch between modes is taken off a magnet attached to a slide in the shift blind. It's a $30 repair, takes about 1 hr to put in.
