So for making the short, i just did the whole valve job to the car... change the valve seals and every gasket... put back every bolt ans cable back... made some mistalke already explained on the old postes... loo for the 2same user in the forum, old stuffs.
So after this i've been looking clearance in between the shaft and the valves, changing shims like 3 times now, locking more and more all the bolts, with the torque wrench... still the car sounds not good, really loud, like the whole engine hitting inside...
my few thoughts, are:
1-still not enough clearance... since i am still like 0.012-0.013 inches... will go to 0.014-0.015 later.
2-missing some timing experience to hear the right sound?
3-i f****d the shaft on the disambling and ensambling trials?
As for the future i will change all the electric engine stuff, spark plugs, cables, rotor, and will try doing some oil change and fuel filters... too see where this drives me...
I wont forget to mention i also did my self the whole engine harness, cable by cable... and i think this been brand new would take a big worry from my mind... since al cables were pealed... crazy, called volvo dissease i now understand what it means.
my main concern would be... I want to know if there is a name for the tool that extract the shims of the drums... i need to order one of those since the two times before was hell to get those out, and this time i want to make it right just to save time and exford... need one tool that extract the shims off the drums that adjust up on the engine valves... just below the shaft... need to change them in order to look for more clearance... i already have the prine bar.. just need the one that some how adjust to the shim and pulls it out in one second!!!! jesus its been like 15 minutes per shim of my life strugglig that tinny screw driver... and i wont pay that price again, prefear to pay for the tool price!!! thanx very much.
thanx alot for the time... will keep posting on whats going on with this.
