Can anyone give me an idea about the location of Transmission Gear selector microswitch?

The only microswitch I can think of is under the selector lever. If it goes wrong it can cause the vehicle to stick in Park.
The following show where it is and how to replace it. Apparently it is a common problem as Volvo broughjt out a repair kit.
