Update .. Not sure how I missed it but you are absolutely correct the upper right contact relay does indeed trace to the negative pins. Here is the updated picture:

Success!!! Thank you jbeebo and abscate for taking time to help out with my odd request! I just soldered the ground to terminal 2 on one the switches and it works like a dream. I was able to use cut the two prong plug with B/R and B to wire to my battery.

Thanks again guys!

Hooray! Glad it's working, wadeatl. Jbeebo and Abscate are awesome.

Would you mind posting photos or a video of the seat when it's set up for your gaming rig? I'm interested in seeing what I've been imagining this would be.

Hello Jbeebo, abscate, and of course wadeatl !

I needed some fast expert advice and ive been reading this thread for help already, so I figured why not try and ask the pros about the S60 Electric seat.

I am putting my S60 seat into a Prius. I have all the motors working properly and that is all seat.

My question is regarding the airbag. The Prius has a seat bolster airbag, and so does my Volvo S60 Seats. The Prius is an SRS airbag, while the Volvo is an SIPS Airbag.

Can I simply hook up the same wires to the Volvo Airbag from the chasis as the Airbag wires only has two prongs, which I assume is a simple BANG operation, with no fancy sensors inside the seat. (At least on the Prius end, im not sure about the SIPS system)

(The following is a question regarding the Prius, I know this is a volvo forums, but maybe you can help) If this is not possible, would I be able to disable the Prius Airbag circuit all together by adding a resistor? I have a Prius Airbag pulled from a car seat, and tested less then 10ohms resistance, so it seems even just shorting the wires would trick the computer to think there was an airbag. (I can send pictures of the Prius airbag if it helps.)

My last resort would be gutting the Volvo seat and replacing the Prius Airbag with the Volvo Airbag.
If any of you have any advice with removing the upholstery from the seat, please let me know! I will be creating a new thread in regards to that, or searching for one that already exists.

Thanks a ton! Y'all are smart, and have helped me tremendously so far :D

Wow..I'm not sure where to start with this one. I think your best bet is to put the Prius bad]g with the Prius electronics , but is that shape and exploded shape the same? I would want to answer that question for safety reasons.

Be careful testing airbags impedance...I don't know what the trigger current is and I would not want to find out suddenly

You would need to dig into the technical specifications of each airbag to determine if they are compatible. Unlikely. I don't know where you would find that information. Toyota uses Takata whereas Volvo uses something else *not Takata*. The Volvo bag in that location uses 3 wires: the bag ground connection is through the seat frame to chassis -not through the connector you are looking at. Be aware vehicle design elements such as where and how the seat belts anchor/hang, door panel elements, side clearance and dimensions between seat/a-pillar etc are all considerations for the safe deployment/effectiveness should the bag ever need to deploy during a collision.

If I were you I'd probably just put up with the horrid Prius and it's caustic torture seats for now (yes I've sat in one). Then buy one of the new small/CMA Hybrid Volvos that will probably start rolling off the lines sometime next year. You'll be happier in the end and likely safer overall in the interim. Sounds like you want a small luxury hybrid and other OEs have been refusing to make such a thing. Hang tight just a little while longer.
