Hello all,
I need to replace my fuel pump and got the after market pump today. Removed the fuel lines and unplugged the socket. Noticed that the new pump has this small white socket that the original one doesnt have. Any idea what this socket is for? Is it for ground? Or possibly a wrong part?

Just to digress, when it comes to fuel pump, I'd stick to quality makers such as Bosch, Walbro or Hella.
I'd avoid Chinese-made fuel pump, you get what you pay for, and you may be stranded in a bad place b/c of the fuel pump...
