Spurt of smoke from exhaust near redline at WOT [99 S70 T5]

Post by Levinicus »

I noticed some smoke from the exhaust while under full boost. It happens suddenly as the engine nears the redline, at around 5500 rpm. A friend followed me to get a look at it and he noted that it smelled like unburnt fuel. I have no warning lights and no codes. What could this be? The PCV is good (as per glove test) and I get no smoke at full boost below 5500.

Thanks,
Alex
