Replacing outside ambient air temperature sensors

2004 XC90 2.5 AWD - Can anyone explain the procedure for replacing the two outside air temperature sensors located in the rear view mirrors? Thanks for any help.

Check the connectors first.. had wrong readings with mine fir about 3 months.. took the door panels off and cleaned the connectors and now it's working..
