Driver Side Axle

I had a very hard time getting out the driver's side, had to pry on two sides and thought
I was going to crack the trans housing. Found some ideas on youtube and posted them
starting here:

This job is relatively easy once you get the axles out, I only took off the outer
joint and slid both boots over that end.
Got the crimp tool from FCP and followed one of Robert's videos.
GKN-Lobro boots were even fairly cheap.
Got the inner (Audi boot that is the best fit) from Pellican parts since FCP does not carry
it. Make sure it fits not sure if this is for Non turbo only or not:

I only took off the wheel end and slid both boots on, and did not completely disassemble
the inside since the boots were good, just cleaned it out and re-greased it. The drivers side
parts all looked and felt new, the grease did not seem to be contaminated even though the
boot was completely split for at least 3 years, maybe 5 or more.
The passenger side was not quite as clean but still only had one small 1/8" diameter spot
where it looked like some sand got in and scored the mating parts - going to hope for the
best on this since they are not making any bad sounds.
