My start issue is a P01081. It says it is the immobilizer. I did research and it looks like the ring antenna on the ignition.
Anyone every change? Also, no programming needed right, just change?

At this age, a little oxidizing of the contacts
at it's connector may occur. Just to check,
before you start spending any money, try
unplugging and reconnecting it a few times.
Zero programming needed if you elect to replace.

Undo the 3 #25 Torx screws under the steering column just behind the steering wheel. Release the steering wheel lock lever and pull the steering wheel out as far as it goes, and lower it to the lowest it goes. Leave the lock lever loose.
Gently pull up on the upper part of the steering column cover. There are 2 snap connectors at the front of the sides. The get fragile with age so don't be surprised if they break. If one or both do it is a pain but worst case use tape to hold them together and go find a good one in a junkyard. I have several for that reason.
Lift the top up and swivel it the front up and it should stand up against the dashboard.
The antenna ring is on the RHS surrounding the steering/ignition lock. What BJ is saying is over time the connector pins on the connector at the back of it oxidise and can become intermittent. The antenna ring is held in place by a very flimsy clip at the front of it so be careful when prising it loose as it may break the clip. Again, not the end of the world.
You may be lucky and not actually have to remove it. With careful use of contact cleaner and a cotton bud you may be able to clean the pins and the connector. Once clean, reconnect the connector to the antenna. You can leave the steering column surround off for now and then re-position the steering wheel and try to start the car again and see what happens. Here it is worth locking/unlocking the driver's door lock with the key (not the fob) to clear any confusion in the immobiliser which can get confused.
Then try to start the car and see what happens.
You will need to get the code erased to know if it is fixed, but drive the car for a few days first to check all is well. If the issue continues you may have to replace the antenna ring. In the US it is not a hugely expensive part. Again you could try a junkyard part but they could be just as bad.
