How much oil to add is always a concern. Here is what's in VADIS. Divide the cc amount by 30 to get ounces (ie: 90cc = 3 ounces).

I understand that new compressors often come with oil already in them, so just check to make sure before adding when it doesn't need it.

Good luck!

I just opened up the box. It came from eEuroparts and has PAG already in it. I received the compressor in one day even though I selected ground shipping. It only had to travel from CT to NJ, but I still consider that excellent service.

Yeah, wow! 1 Day is fantastic! Already filled with PAG oil will make your job that much easier!

Btw, if you have any doubts about which PAG oil...and you have a choice, the one you want is PAG-46. That's the one used in all 850's and from I understand, all older V/C/XC/S70's....not sure what's in the current ones.

OUr 2001 V70XC has an air conditioner that intermittently is blowing warm/hot air instead of cold air. Most of the time it seems like it is blowing nice cold air. Don't know if this is similar to earlier posts or not. I did notice that the little sensor pin looking component behind the very small plastic grill next to the AC controls looks to have some build up on it.
