Hi guys, my new to me 2001 V70XC is displaying the message engine service required. This was a $500.00 car with 150 K on the clock. I put on new front and rear suspension, front and rear brakes and hoses, new interior, engine mounts and cleaned Throttle body. It had an EVAP leak at the J hose at the canister. I am not getting a CEL. Just this message. PCV passed the glove test. Owners manual said to take car to the dealership.
This P2 platform is new to me. Any guidance is appreciated!

What code reader do you use to read codes? Sounds like you are getting a Volvo code of some kind...I don't think you have CEL Anymore on 2001
