A week ago I replaced my battery. It hadn't been holding a charge. New one installed, everything working fine.
About five days after, on the freeway going about 65mph and my car lurches forward, radio cuts out, AC/tach/speedo all cut out, ABS/Parking brake lights come on, but engine continues running. About 30 seconds later everything powers back on like normal except the battery light is illuminated.
It drove fine after that, until in the evening I noticed the lowbeams didn't work although the highbeams did.
This morning it drove totally normal for about a half hour until the AC cut out, car became sluggish at accelerating, power windows were very slow, ABS lights came on...
This is a lot of issues coming all at once and clearly there is an underlying problem here. All I have done so far is disconnect/check the battery and cables twice but it persists. Help is very appreciated!

I think your alternator is going out, or your multi-belt is slipping. You may also want to check the alternator pulley. It's a clutch type and the bearings could be worn after 12 years. Use to search function for more information.

You could be duplicating wisechatmgr and my NY service weekend from the other day...
His alternator went out, killing battery, alternator surge killed low beams but not high beams (DRLs) and a new alternator and bulbs fixed the day.
He also found loose terminals connections in his fusebox.
