I am new to this site, but I've come here before and seen some helpful threads!
My '98 V70 was leaking a lot of coolant recently, I decided to take it to a shop nearby that specializes in radiators and mufflers. After the replacement it was all good for a few days. Then it started leaking transmission fluid from the bottom transmission oil cooler hose connection. It is a slow leak, so I'm not too worried about it as of now. It was not leaking before the replacement. After the replacement the guy that worked on the car said we should get some new transmission cooling hose retainers, as the old ones were incredibly corroded (https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... er-6842411 <-link to the part on FCPEuro, part number is 6842411). I've also driven the car around for 30 minutes and checked the fluid oil (as per the instructions in the owners manual) and the fluid was at the max line if not above. Will the leak resolve itself after the fluid level has reached the max line, is it a problem with the radiator itself, or will putting the new retainers on resolve it?
Thank you for any help you will provide, it means a lot to me!
