I completely forgot that I posted this, thanks for all the replies! I still need to replace the hood, and I appreciate all the walkthroughs and whatnot. When I get a couple days off from work to go get a hood at the pick and pull I'll let you guys know how it goes. Hoping I don't mess anything up since I'm pretty novice, thankfully since I drive for a living a lot of the drivers I work with are familiar with repairs.

Awesome.. Thanks for the pics and post Ben850. I just test drove an 850 today I was planning on buying and the flying hood happened during test drive. Owner said he'd knock $300 off if I took care of it. Looks like a simple afternoon project!
