What are these cables? 850 -94

Post by Fyndler »

Hey there, does anyone know where these cables are supposed to be and what they do? I know one off them goes to the alarm switch near the window at drivers door

It´s a 850 T5 -94

No idea, but does the red wire have a burnt section at the top of the picture?

You mean like a a little melted? In that case no, cables are just fine. Someone told me it´s to the alarm and that the previous owner probably unplugged it. No idea why :/ Kinda want alarm on my car haha, and the light on the dash for the car alarm don´t show when the car is locked.

Sorry for my bad English

Thankfully your English is really good as I have no Serbian! So don't worry about that.

Previous owner may have disconnected the alarm due to a fault with it and that may explain the no flashing light and the fob not programming. Do those 2 connectors in the picture connect together? If so it may be worth trying and see what happens but be ready to disconnect if all hell breaks loose. You may have to reset the alarm by using the key in the drivers door lock to lock/unlock the door which resets the system. Later cars you have to sometimes turn the ignition on if there is chip in the key to reset.
