2000 V40 Camshaft Postion Sensor Location

Was cleaning up the engine on a 2000 V40 i bought and found a connector - not connected to anything. I traced the wire and the other end (the camshaft position sensor) was not connected to anything either....

Anyone have a diagram of where the sensor should go, and where the other end (its connector) should go?

The camshaft position sensor is located at the rear of the exhaust camshaft.

Any photos or diagrams you can share? No idea where the exhaust camshaft is.

Do you have a photo of what you are referring to jdifelice?

I'm currently working on my car and could take some photos for you as I just replaced my front and rear cam seals.
