Which of the sides is the one that does this (the resistance thing) ? Just thinking if it's on passenger side, it may be the carrier bearing on the axle.

I put a used bearing on mine about 15000 miles ago, it had a slight roughness at some point, it is still good today... but it was a genuine one. These take long time to fail, so it's a matter of optimizing the expenses in the end. The car can have many parts with some wear on them that will last for more years. Just my point of view.
And I also did ride on a car that had a front bearing with serious play (and consequently noise) in it, it didn't squeal at all. The driver was actually nervous about it seizing at any moment given the state of wear. I'm guessing these will start squealing just prior to seizing?

Usually they just rumble ever louder and squeal as they seize up like you said.oragex wrote: ↑16 Jun 2018, 08:00I'm guessing these will start squealing just prior to seizing?ThommyKent wrote: ↑16 Jun 2018, 01:28 Any roughness is not acceptable, that`s a sure sign of needing replacement. Let us know how it went

So today i brought my car to the shop to get the bearing replaced.
The mechanic said that its definitely not the bearing and didn't replace it (He told that the noise is not a bearing noise). But he also couldn't locate the squeaking noise.
I'm gonna look for another shop to identify the problem..
I might also make a video of me rotating the wheel when lifted, so You guys get the general idea of what i'm talking about.
