I've done about 20K+ miles on this part:

At $15 bucks, it's a steal. My version was made in Spain. (FCP still lists the part as being made in Spain.)

I recommend it for those N/A cheapskates out there.

Caveat: I drive an N/A and it's a 5-speed. I don't have a CD player. I don't have seat warmers. I don't have a sunroof. My foglights are busted (I really should replace those one day.) I'm Stage 0. I would not purchase this piece if our car had a turbo.

I didn't have good luck with the FAE version of this part. It only lasted about two years before it failed. It started measuring higher resistance than it should have:

I replaced it with an OEM version which has been running fine for four years so far -- no problems.
1997 855 GLT (Light Pressure Turbo) still going strong. Previous: 1986 240 GL rusted out in '06, 1985 Saab 900T rusted out in '95, 1975 Saab 99 rusted out in '95, 1973 Saab 99 rusted out in '94

Interesting, I'm pretty sure my cousin has that one in his '99 T5, and it has at least 20k miles on it with no issue. His car is also pretty much stage 0.
It may be a Meyle one, but I'm pretty sure it's that FAE.

I've been burned enough by Proparts to know that saving a few bucks is rarely ever worth it. But this thing is a steal (there are three N/As in our family, too...) Definitely something to have in the glove box, with a spare relay, just in case.

Again, I think this is strictly an N/A part.

Updating thread for a Jan 2023 for Linnea

Facet version $16
Volvo $60

The allure of the cheap price may well be the lack of testing the OE parts manufacturer does for Volvo to ensure quality. It’s a pretty critical engine part as it drives the cooling group cycle.

Reposting jreed data on difference between a good and failed sensor, log scale.
