Interchangable PEMs
Interchangable PEMs
I have a 2004 S60 2.5t with a bad PEM # 30636431 and I have located a used PEM # 30769225 from a 2006 S60. Can anyone tell me if they are interchangeable without issue? Your knowledge/opinion is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

- I suspect they are interchangeable...
- Your best bet is to install the "new" part (make sure you label with sharpie which is which first!) and report back.

Most of the vendors have compatibility or fitment charts, just load the part number into the search tool.
FCP reports this...note this is for the metal tank only, so if your S60 has a plastic tank you need to explore more

I'm fairly sure they're interchangeable also. The couple different PNs denote different style mounting brackets, not any difference in the actual PEM.

As above. You van get one from a 2012 S40 and slap it into a 2004 XC90. Harder part is to find where its located. All made by Ford
