2008 C30 Transmission Drain and fill method.

Post by Cliffd »

Can someone provide details / method to do drain and fill fluid change on 2008 c30.? Not sure if it has drainplug and dipstick. Any help would be appreciated. Information I've found is a bit fragmented.
Thanks
Cliff

Just did this on my 2008 C70 T5, it could be the same transmission. I found one helpful post with a diagram here on this site but, in short, there is no dipstick, you have to remove a hose between the oil cooler and the transmission, then refill the trans through another hose you temporarily connect to the transmission fitting. Undoing the permanent hose was the trickiest bit as it involves pressing two clips that are difficult to get at.

Found the post that has the VADIS document 'how-to' here:

You want to look at the pdf document towards the bottom of the thread, it worked for me
