I take it the six digit sequence on the side of the FPR is a date code. I replaced a '97 with an '06 (which is what I had on hand). We'll see if that produces improved starting. Still flying blind though, since it started right up when I tried it a while ago.

Yeah, you need to try it under no start condition because they definitely fail intermittently

Started right up this morning. 36 degrees so that might not be a true test.

I'll put the studded snows on it today.
