Hi it's time to replace my lower torque rod and I'm thinking of going with poly bushes has anyone done this and regretted using poly bushes due to excessive vibration/engine noise

I know after putting the polys on the upper engine torque rod, I regretted it and swapped back to the oem. Did notice a slight difference in shifting and engine response. It may not be as noticeable on the lower eng/ trans torque rod though. All depends on how you like your ride.

I've polyed my upper and can notice it, don't want to make the car unbearable to drive

I have poly both upper and lower on my 850. You feel more vibration, but it also feels sturdier, somehow. It’s certainly not noticeable during driving or cruising, other than that it kind of feels like I get better response either the poly than rubber.
