After head gasket replacement question!!!

I found a pretty bad fuel leak.....the rail isnt holding any pressure after I turn it off.....gonna fix the line tmro.......that would couse the black smome from the resurch I did....maybe the imfo I read was wrong IDK.....WOULDwould it couse the blackish smoke?

black smoke would be rich mix. check the vac lines to the fuel damper/regulator, or an incorrect MAFF or TPS input. also ox sensor could be bad. try to read codes. no harm in trying starting it if timing belt on properly.

Started it back up running but sounds like a tractor and has alot of gray smoke......no check engine ligh

Im guessing its the valve stem seals.....i dont think i seated them propper.....its like a gray blue smoke.....and smells like oil. If I don't seat them right and they where lose whould itcouse it to run loud like a tractor?

blue grey is oil. white is break fluid or antifreeze. do you mean like a diesel sound like marbles in a can? or is the exhaust loud? I guess
it may be the seals, you dont want to run it too much and clog the cat if its not burning off. Did you check to see if the belt is tight? pull the front cover, turn the steering wheel to the right, pick up the flap and turn the dampner clockwise until the line on the face of it lines up with the front timing belt and see if both the cams are close to the marks before you remove the cam cover. something changed after an hour of idling. could be timing, stuck open fuel injectors black smoke), valve seals, head gasket and even the turbo oil seal. you could check the intercooler pipe for oil.

If there were a lot of oil in the IC, it may mean turbo seals are bad. But that is very, very rare on these Mitsubishi TD04-HL turbos. And there is ALWAYS some oil in there.

so start at the beginning. what did you have the head off for (over heat) (compression problem) (fluids in combustion or combustion in fluids or mixing of fluids) (to do a valve job) or did you only pull the cover to put na cams in and seals? How did you pull the the cover off and down? surface the head or check for flat? there is not enough information to help. that looks like oil but you can taste it to see if it's sweet. how do the fluids look and maintain level?

Well as I am tearing of the cam cover I found this. It was not like thos when I re installed. Whatwould couse this to just like rip in half?
