Behr Hella 1/4 twist style radiator drain plug, replacement Not availlable

Looks like Chrysler/Dodge has been using Behr-Hella for some of their OE radiators since the mid-90s through at least 2012-2013 that use this style twist-lock petcock. The design appears specific to Behr radiators. However, the Chrysler replacement part, though close, I can tell from pictures has slightly altered dimensions from what is inyour pictures. If the used aftermarket radiator you got hold of was manufactured more recently (probably - especially if it looked really clean/like new), maybe this (fits newer Behr rads?) petcock is what might fit it.

It's probably worth investigating. Two potential part numbers:

Doorman 61134 (Help! line of products for Chrysler/Dodge OE radiators).

The petcock on the picture is from nissens. I was thinking that maybe it will work. Its new. But does mate the rad.
Saab was manufactured by GM. Will they have the same?
The oryginal one looks some what like the Saab. The wing to handle it were square not like on the picture trapezoid.
I will have the Chrysler one today afternoon.

Its a 96 turbo. it had 135k miles when I got it so could be original radiator.

Changed title for search

I would put a SS screw into a rubber stopper, bung it into the hole, and wire a safety from the screw up the radiator

After a couple of search interations, I haven’t found a source for these yet.

No , I think thats a pipe thread style,

The 1/4 twist style are a coarse thread, bayonet style.

My Nissens replacement (third rad in car) has this 1/4 twist style.

The picture of the hole in his radiator clearly isn't threaded. But I'm starting to wonder if that picture is of the exact radiator in his car.
You wouldn't be willing to confirm whether that picture showing a radiator in post #1 is your currently installed radiator, your old radiator, or a picture of some other random radiator 'for reference' (that may or may not match what is on your car/need) ?

Pictures are of the curently installed radiator. The number provided in 1rst post are from this radiator.
The petcock is just for reference to show the difference vs the threaded one.

The Chrysler part number petcock is too big. The diameter is about 18mm. For my rad i need about 15mm.
