Ahhh... gotta love my R. Always keeping me on my toes. Constant stress and anger is the goal of this car! Now I need to polish this fender after I just washed and applied sealant last night.

Good thing this corner light wasn't a jewel. I'd be straight up furious if it was.

What happened? And what's a jewel?

The turn signal flew off on the highway. It wasn't clipped in right, I believe because the fender was slightly damaged by a previous owner.
Jewels are 2004 C70 headlights. Crystal clear lens vs. the fluted lens on the older P80s. It's a nice upgrade for looks and light output (I can see better than ever now!).

The clips or tabs or whatever hold the corner lights on my 98 R must be broken, lol. They're flimsy and ones tapes on. Haha. I like the looks of yours!

Probably, they break all the time!

They're factory "jewel" headlights out of a 2004 C70.

Glued up my headliner in rear above hatch (wagon)
cleaned carpet in same area with woolite spray foam, took off all grease and rust left from valve job last summer
filled brake res
added oil
cleaned dist cap and rotor
replaced ign coil

Dropped ladies at airport at 0500, whipped home to do broken spring on S70

Got parts off, opened trunk, no springs

Almost stroked out over next hour looking for them tearing through mess of garage

Gave up and ordered new ones from FCP
