Hello allihopa,
The dashboard has been replaced on my V70 and unfortunately the mileage on the donor car didn't match (240k on mine and 315k on donor).
Is it possible to set the mileage to the real value because right now I only have a handwritten note in the service book with the mileages when the swap was done?
Can you read the mileage from the ECU or is it only stored in the dashboard ?

It's stored in instrument cluster ecm.

Just realised I never answered back !
I bought it in Sweden from an old Swedish gubbe.
He had the receipt where the garage had written the mileage on the old dashboard and the one on the new one but he had tossed the old dashboard away.
I wasn't sure if he was telling me the truth so I checked on Carfax and the mileage did indeed go from something like 215000km to 290000km in a year.
