1991 740 Turbo Brakes

Post by big Reg »

Is there something special about bleeding the brakes on my 1991 740 Turbo Wagon? My mechanic says that he can't get them to bleed out.

Does your car have ABS (anti-lock brake system)? There is a very specific bleeding process for Volvo's without ABS as theye use a unique dual triangular brake circuit. If your car does have ABS then again there is a procedure because it can be difficult to ourge the air from the ABS acumilators. Al lthe correct bleeding procedures are in the manual.
