I have an 04 V70. It has a steel fuel tank so obviously it's an odd ball. I was in the drive thru at the Chic Fila and it just quit. Relay was clicking but no pump. I tried swapping relays that did nothing, then I replaced the fuel pump. Which took me a couple orders because of the steel tank thing. But it is a factory replacement pump from Volvo. Not a cheap piece!
Well it still doesn't work? Is there any other components between relay CMI12 under dash and the pump? I haven't found a proper diagram yet.. it doesn't help its 100deg outside working on it either. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

As above, look for the PEM (google) $50 used off Ebay. No need to put back the small locking tab and screw

I concur... PUMP ELECTRONIC MODULE.(I hate acronyms) btw. It good to have moderators like abscate, Oragex, Jimmy 57 and a handful of other people around... really know their stuff when it comes to the diagnostic side. MDK

WE can do a better job here of stopping this bad habit, which is tough on newer folks. I caught myself with one above but not the first one
