An ongoing problem....If my car hasn't been started for a couple of days it will not start. I have replaced the battery, timing belt, plugs,and new parts on the starter...Wondering if anyone has any ideas...

Without knowing more it's hard to give you advise. Are you saying that the battery goes down after a day or so? If this is so, the usual culprits are one of the door's lights (trunk lid or tail gate too) not turning off completely due to a bad alignment or more common is the glove box light staying on. I hope you find what's wrong. Please help us with more details.

The battery still has life and a boost still won't start it. Someone suggested the expansion tank cap for the radiator, but the cap looks fine.

I suspect a short in the system. Check your battery terminal cables as well as ground wires (there's a large one on the back side of the engine up near the fire wall too). If these are corroded or torn, this could be the reason for your problems.

Have him check both the latch (doors, hood, tail gate and glove box) lights as well as a short from the battery (cables and grounds).
