Crankshaft interchange

Thanks in advance for any help here. I have a 2008 s40 2.4i with "39" vin and trying to figure out what all models would have the same crank and rods to pull from a yard.

Crank and rods? ... Would you not be better off getting a short block that would work?

Code 39 is a B5244S7
SULEV+ engine variant with PremAir for California.

Thank you so much for the great info. My apologies for my ignorance, but I'm not familiar with forums at all. Of all the items listed it's only the ones that are highlighted that will work, right?
Also I think you may have a point about the short block. If it's not too much trouble can you let me know what all models I can pull a short and long block out of.

The Crank and rods from anything listed above will work. I highlighted the 2.4L.
For a long or short block, you cannot go wrong by sticking with the B5244S4, B5244S5 or B5244S7 listed above.
