How to use Vadis.... 2001 Volvo S60T
I just got Vadis and cannot figure out how to use it. Is there a idiot guide for it? I noticed a system selftest screen. Can I somehow connect Vadis to my car? any help would be nice thanks,

Not sure if I understand you. Did you get it installed okay? If not, then you have to install it first. If you are past that hurdle and wondering if you can hook it up to you car, the answer is yes and no. Yes, if you have the Volvo scan tool (VST) but it's at least a grand, even if you find a used one on eBay. New, they are really outrageous. I have not heard of anyone being able to connect it to their car with a different tool. VADIS for me is a great reference to car parts and "how-to's" but not for actually doing the "self test" which would require the VST.

Yeah I have it installed. I found a torrent and downloaded it. It came in 3 parts, although I do not understand why. The first disc 3.8 GB
installed and I do not know what the other 2 parts are for. I thought Vadis would help me troubleshoot my car
but if the cable to interface my laptop with the software is so expensive then forget it. If nothing else I will be able to see how the car is assmbled
Thanks for answering so fast madeinjapan
