Has anybody found windshield wipers blades that do not lift off the glass on the passenger side? If so, brand and model.

Is it due to the curvature of the glass so it lifts at the end or are you referring to lift at speed?

It happens standing still.

It is the end of wiper blade not contorting to the curvature of the glass. It only happens on the passenger side where the tip of the blade approaches the top of the windshield. Leaves a large unwiped area at the top of the windshield, right of center.

The wipers that came with the car did this. Michelin beam type does it.

I was going to put Bosch Icon on it instead of Michelin but my local source for Bosch Icon does not carry them anymore. Need to get it done that day.

I am hoping somebody found something that works. I don't want to throw money at it unless I think there is a chance of success.

Costco use to carry Rain X, Good Year and now Michelin. The Good Years did that on almost all my vehicles because the aero-cover was hard plastic and only pivoted in the middle on both sides. This new Michelin has a slight curve at rest while the others were all straight and inflexible. Costco's return policy allows you to return it at anytime if it fails. Never know how winter weather might change it's flexibility.

I was not expecting this.

Took the right side blade off and noticed the arm was not touching the windshield. Further investigation revealed the right side hub was broken and flopping all over the place. Got a replacement from the local PnP for $3.99. Way less then the $180.00 for new. Also grabbed the wiper blades which are in good condition ... Bosch $3.98 for the pair.

I'll be heading out to put it all together in a few minutes.

Got it done. The arms needed some altitude adjustment but the blades stay in contact with the glass now.

Great info, that actually stayed together and not mangle the area surrounding it. Sure nice to have a local PnP for Volvo parts to make quick work of something so out of the ordinary. That VIDA, looks like a must have!
