AOC leaking

AOC leaking

Hello,
My Volvo dealer has diagnosed that my AOC = Automated On-demand Coupling is leaking, but that the seal is not available separately and that therefore the whole AOC needs to be replaced at a cost of about $8,000! Do you have alternative & as good but more reasonable alternatives?

Land Rover LR3 is the same rear drive unit and they service all parts. Volvo did service the front seat and the diff to AOC seal. DO you know which one they say is leaking?

If you can provide pictures of the AOC leaking seal it would help.
