Using a headlight assembly from a '04 V70 on an '05

Post by volvooh »

Hello all.

I came across a set of matching headlight assemblies from an '04 V70 and was wondering if the would fit in an '05 without a lot of modification? I really like the glass v. plastic lens. I compared pics online, and I am thinking it is not possible, but I thought I'd float this out there to see if anyone else had tried.

Long time gone but I've done it. best way is to either get the loom with the lights and splice in to the existing plug or cut off the round plug and splice on a 4 pin older plug. You NEED the 4 pin connection with a bit of wire to attach to rather than messing with pins and clips.

The units are a straight swap with a bit of fiddling on the alignment its the pigtail that's different and needs rewiring.
