Angle gear sleeve removed XC70 2001

Got the angle gear off, that top bolt is a real pain, i used a 1/4 inch socket and ratchet but working by feel was hard. The big surprise was the Sleeve slide off with the angle gear, the other surprise was the splines on the angle gear are destroyed more than the sleeve.

I have the new seals,sleeve and a good used angle gear.

I accidently removed the circlip without noting its position inside the sleeve, it should go in the groove, not like this picture?

And also i should put the inner seal on the transmission not the sleeve??
