The fluids didn't mix. It was pressurizing the cooling system enough that it blew the top radiator hose loose while running a short distance. It might actually be easier to find a complete engine and change it out though. Thanks for the replies!

Totally agree, engine swap is much, much easier than head work. Can be difficult to find an engine but they are out there. I would do timing parts and oil pan gaskets/seals on the replacement before it goes in.
