Which Motor ? Driver Seat

Do I have to change all 3 motors if only the drivers seat isn’t going back and forth?

If I only need to change 1, which is it?

And, I notice the one in the middle is part 198392-104 and what they sent over eBay is 103
Will it still work?

Out of curiosity, do the other functions still work?

I had a power drivers seat that was finicky & would only operate for the first minute or two after putting the car in gear. If you opened the drivers door (while driving) it would resume operation, but as before, only for a minute or so & then dead. Turned out to be a bad module on the drivers seat.

I had a spare set of power front seats, so I swapped the module on the drivers seat & it was back to normal. Just saying, it may be worthwhile to rule out a bad power seat motor vs module with ViDA. Whichever it ends up being, it’ll hopefully save you money vs throwing a round of birdshot in parts at it.

Which Vida do you use ? Perhaps I should invest in one.

2014D it’s called. Most of the DiCE units come with the free ViDA software. DiCE is the little box that acts as the interface between your laptop & OBD2 port on car.
