camshaft tuning for fuel economy?

Is it possible to tune the 850 camshaft timing for better fuel economy? I have IPD's cam timing tool and was wondering if I could increase my MPG rather than my acceleration.

most probably not. I guess fuel economy was quite high up on Volvo's list when designing these cars.
