2012 C70 Transmission Dip stick

Post by jedge »

I recently acquired a 2012 C70 and cannot locate the transmission dipstick. I want to do a drain and fill. Car has 57k on it and shifts great. Does anyone have pictures.

I hate to ask but for this car I cannot find anything posted.

Thanks,
John

It is supposedly there, hiding underneath some hose someplace. Have not found it myself, so disconnected a hose (I think going to the transmission cooler, not sure now) to refill my trans. I did find the info on this forum, it was in a Volvo technical publication (the drawing that identified the hose). Good luck,

I asked the Dealer about the dip stick for the Transmission - he told me that there is none (!) Instead, the filler plug is pulled on the side of the transmission and a finger's put in. If the fluid can be felt, then there's enough.

Sounds really too weird & old for me.
