turbo comp chart, core interchangeable? 16t vs 18t vs 19t

On my last thread, we discussed the t5 vs r engines. i understand the turbo does make a difference. I remember reading somewhere the 18t is plug and play and easier to deal with than the 19t. I was considering buying the 2.3 from a t5 and swapping the core from 16t to 18t or 19t. can someone please help me? the turbo compare (see link below) is a bit confusing to me and newed help figuring out if i can buy a 18t core or 19t core to put n my 16t housing. Chart shows 16t/18t/19t as Sb. What is that?

I have a 2000 V70R with the 19T turbo. Some will say bigger is better and some cases that may be. However, the 19T is a big turbo and it is slow to respond compared to the smaller 16T and even the 18T. It may give more power higher up in the rev range, but for a daily driver it is a bit of a slug.

CIK7, stick with the 13g until you do a manual swap, or some 13" wheels and stance that mother. Otherwise, you'll get gapped by Grannies in Toyota Avalons!
Current Volvos:
1998 V70 T5, 112k sat 5 years, still in mechanical coma (finally at the top of the pile )
2004 XC90 T6 AWD: 186k, 60 on transaxle ( traded in )
1998 POS70 N/A: DD/training aid, 236k but really about 240k, I think...ABS module( passed on to son who sold it)

lol im flaking on the manual swap. the 13g engine is dead. right now im focused on a new engine with fresh parts. im thinking about buying b523t3 engine, replacing 16t with 18t, swapping the blue injectors for white injectors. What ECU would I need with this setup? T5 or R? I dont want to stance it. And i have the V70 T5 wheels on there. Awesome tires too. but with the turbo, which parts do i swap to go from 16t to 18t?

The B5234T3 is just a basic 2.3 HPT engine. What year are you getting it from? 99-04 B5234T3 has exVVT. (You can just leave it unplugged, if it has it)

The white and blue injectors are basically the same, no need to swap them in this application.

If you're going to use the 18T and you're AWD you'll probably want a '97 V70R AWD ECU (last 3 digits of -455).
