My clutch pedal is still hard as a rock after driving through a downpour yesterday afternoon. This is the second time this has happened, but this time it's still doing it today. The last time, it went back to normal the next day. Just installed a new master, so all I can think is either water got into the bell housing and rusted my flywheel a little bit (and the clutch needs to grind it off) or my slave cylinder is failing. I wouldn't be surprised, it's an original slave from a '96 850. At least it's easy to get to!
Then I pulled my 940 into the garage tonight and replaced the worn out old strut rod bushings with fresh iPd poly bushings. Easy job... I love the RWD cars. This should tighten up the front end a little bit. Now I just need to replace the tie rods, sway bar links, and ball joints. All of the rubber bushings look surprisingly good!
The iPd billet turbo cam is also looking nice sitting in the reman head that's soon to be put on the 940. Just need to order an angle flange downpipe for my 16t, then I swap everything.
Fortunately my VVT stupidity was purged a few years ago. Fun memories...
