Ugh those quick disconnects SUCK. Such a pain to release. I bet that orifice tube is nasty, mine was caked up with so much garbage. I guarantee someone used stop leak to try to fix the evaporator leak, but of course it won't work since it couldn't get past the orifice tube.

There are 2 lines running underneath the coolant reservoir to the firewall. The smaller line is actually 2 lines bolted together. The orifice is in that smaller line. You have to remove the line completely before opening. I did it the hard way. I recommend unbolting the pieces behind the headlight before disconnecting at the firewall. It will give you more flexibility. Pay attention to the direction of the orifice when replacing.

I’m getting ready to do the cam seals on Charlie. My c70.

Read up on VVT which you will have in the exhaust cam. You need the cam lock tool.

Hopefully, you won’t have to retime it 11 times like me before the Stupid was purged.

Yeah I bought the tool about a month before I decided to start the job. Replaced all cam seals whether they needed it or not, changed the front crank seal as it was leaking, and only got an ets light when done. Probably due to pulling the main relay to turn it over. Yes I turned it by hand first. Changed the serpentine belt tensioner pulley and replace the upper torque mount on the engine. No more oil leaks from the engin. Now to figure out the transmission leaks. I think it’s the case seam but I’m hoping it’s just axle seals, and a pan gasket.

Prepped for and started the engine removal to do the clutch/flywheel/release bearing. Stopped as I was losing light and I couldn't disconnect my clutch line from my release bearing assembly. I'm leaving it to soak in PB blaster overnight, but how bad does this look? My thought is that the line doesnt have nearly as much pressure as a brake line so I could get away with not replacing it. Any thoughts?

When the rust perforates the line, you will have no clutch. You good with that?
