MY Mechanic was reaching up in there and said it was an o-ring.
Motor works fine.
I guess he is referring to the piece between the tank bottom port (connecting) and the tubing?
Does anyone know if this is a part available to buy separately?

This just came up.

In my case, the thimble-sized sieve/grommet would've been better installed with a slight smear of sealant before shoving back into the reservoir.

All local parts house has a box of O-Rings (similar to below) for you to choose from so shouldn't be a problem. Use a little silicone grease when installing so as not to pinch or shear it. Petroleum lubricates will swell the O-Ring unless it's synthetic.plumsmooth wrote: ↑01 Aug 2020, 12:38 MY Mechanic was reaching up in there and said it was an o-ring.

Is it possible it is one of these?
The problem is he said he didn't (and I couldn't) see it. He opened up the wheel well (not the bumper) just enough to reach in there and push it around while the water rained on his head! I said sorry I didn't bring an umbrella.
